We advise that you allow for approximately 600 Euros per month. How much money one spends is usually dependent on the person and the type of lifestyle he/she leads. 600 Euros will include costs such as accommodation, all provisions, transportation throughout Saarland and books. Please note that this does not include extra travel.

Some estimative costs are:

1. Regular expenditures per month:

· Rent (dependent on accommodation) student residence:  220 - 250 € (without bail and safety payment); private rooms:  220 - 300 €

· Health insurance 55 €

2. Meals: in student „Mensa“(on campus): between 1,8 and 5 Euros per meal. You may spend between 100 and 200 € per month.

3. Other costs:

· Cinema (reduced tariff): 5 - 7,50 €

· Disco (entrance): 5 - 15 €

· Alcoholic drinks: 3 - 10 €

· Non-alcoholic drinks: 2 - 5 €

· Swimming pool: 1 - 5 €

4. Bus ticket (Semesterticket) is included in the registration fees.
